Wind Energy Logistics

MOVIN supports wind-energy project, service and maintenance operations with specialised field logistics covering planned site replenishment, urgent spare-parts organisation, fixed-route and Milk Run operations, reverse logistics, technician equipment and consignment-stock movements.

Two modules, one operating discipline

Wind Energy Logistics runs in two modules. The project side deals with construction and site flow; the service side deals with the operating life of the site. Both use the same planning, coordination and reporting discipline.

  • Wind Energy Project Logistics — project material flows, site deliveries, project-based storage, staging and site coordination
  • Wind Energy Service Logistics — planned and urgent spare parts, consumables distribution, Milk Run, reverse logistics, technician equipment and consignment-stock movements

Wind Energy Project Logistics

The project phase is about material reaching site in the right order at the right time. We analyse route and site conditions in advance, tie the material flow to the project schedule and run site releases in the planned sequence.

  • Planning and running project material flows
  • Site deliveries and site release sequencing
  • Project-based storage and use of staging areas
  • Site and stakeholder coordination
  • Planned equipment movements
  • Tracking, traceability and project reporting

Wind Energy Service Logistics

During operation, logistics is about keeping the site running. We schedule the planned replenishment flows, manage urgent requirements on a separate track, and collect returning material under record.

  • Planned and urgent spare-parts organisation
  • Consumables distribution
  • Milk Run and fixed-route replenishment
  • Reverse logistics and defective-part returns
  • Technician equipment, tools and PPE logistics
  • Consignment-stock and operational stock transfers
  • Status and delivery reporting

24/7 urgent operations and crisis management

A stopped turbine is no longer a logistics problem — it is lost generation. On urgent requests we confirm eligibility and site conditions first, then organise the movement. For eligible urgent operations, and where route and site conditions allow, delivery can be organized within 24 hours. This is not an unconditional guarantee. Confirming urgency, route feasibility and site access is part of that assessment.

Planned spare-parts and consumables distribution

For planned maintenance and periodic requirements we put the parts and consumables flow on a schedule. Each assignment defines the parts, the replenishment plan, which sites are served and where responsibility sits.

Milk Run and fixed-route replenishment

Where several sites need regular replenishment we set up a fixed route. Route, frequency, the sites called at and the replenishment scope are defined per assignment, so the site team knows what arrives when.

Reverse logistics and defective-part returns

Material leaving site is a logistics flow too. We manage collection of defective parts, movement to the return destination, traceability and status recording.

Technician equipment, tools and PPE

When a crew reaches site, the equipment has to be there. We deliver the specified tools, equipment and personal protective equipment to the correct site at the correct operational time.

Consignment and operational stock transfers

We run stock movements between warehouse and site under record. Warehouse and site ownership, the records to be kept and transfer confirmation are defined per assignment.

Tracking, traceability and reporting

We report operational status and delivery or return records in the agreed format. The reporting method and frequency are set at the start of the job. We do not imply an unverified tracking platform.
