Warehousing & Handling

We provide storage, receiving, handling, consolidation and dispatch preparation from MOVIN’s own warehouse.

When you would use this service

Goods need to wait somewhere, be prepared, be combined or leave for site under control. That need is usually tangled up with transport: whose stock is it, what gets recorded at receiving, when is it ready to dispatch. This service connects the warehouse side to the transport plan and puts the responsibilities in writing.

Scope

We provide storage, temporary holding, receiving, handling, consolidation and dispatch preparation from MOVIN’s own warehouse, according to product and project needs.

  • Storage at MOVIN’s own warehouse
  • Project-based and temporary storage — duration, stock responsibility and handling rules defined in scope
  • Receiving, handling and consolidation
  • Consignment-stock and operational stock transfers — warehouse and site ownership, records and transfer confirmation defined
  • Packaging and dispatch preparation
  • Fulfilment / e-commerce fulfilment module — only where actual systems, equipment, service levels and responsibilities are defined

How we work

The first job in a warehouse operation is drawing the responsibility line: whose stock is whose, which record is kept when, and who receives which information. The record chain runs unbroken from receiving to dispatch, and stock movements are reported in the agreed format.
